As many criminal defense lawyers will tell his/her client: don't help them prove their case...shut the fuck up...and if necessary, head fake cooperation but don't actually give up anything unless you get something for it or can sell a bigger fish. And drag it out as long as possible - unless you can sell a bigger fish quickly, and get a deal for yourself.
