Don’t Gloat About What Happened to the GLOAT
The Trump verdict was legally, morally, and ethically right; but what a bitter pill and broken heart for America
Well, America, Donald Trump is a convicted felon, found guilty on 34 felony counts beyond a reasonable doubt by 12 jurors in a Manhattan courtroom. He has been shown — finally — to be subject to the law like everyone else.
How awful a thing that must seem in his mind!
This might be his conversation with himself on the subject:
What? I am Donald Trump. You hear? Donald f’ing Trump.
I (not Michael Cohen, that amateur hack) am the GLOAT … the Greatest Liar of All Time. I don’t know what Blanche was thinking when he called Cohen that. Sounded good at the time, though. Only I am the Greatest.
I am not above the law, after all? How can that be, when all my cult-members really believe that I am? They must be right, right? They agree with me.
I must make two confessions.
