He thinks he’s James Bond.

He thinks he’s John Wick.

He thinks he’s all the things these fictional figures are:

• The absolute best at what they do;
• Unbeatable, again and again and forever;
• The GOAT; of all the Double 0s, of all the servants of the High Table, the Greatest of All Time;
• Superlative, like a Rolex Submariner;
• Capable of absolute devotion to something other than themselves;
• Complicated, yet when push comes to shove absurdly simple.

Yes. The Donald has fooled many, many people. But none so fully and completely as himself.

He thinks he’s James Bond.

He thinks he’s John Wick.

He’s as far from correct as East is from West (from the Bible, y’all).

He’s as wrong as wrong can be.

He’s none of those things Bond and Wick are. But …
