I wish I could believe that Trump is as ineffectual as you say, and that we don't need to worry about him (or a mini-Trump) in 2024. It's pretty clear what is in the wind with all the election law changes, and concentration of power in specific offices - with people who can "legally" change the outcome of an election. I've read many of the pieces of legislation and this aspect is hard to miss. it must be for a reason. So, you may be right - and Trump is done. What if it doesn't matter?
