You raise a number of cogent points, but overall - although in sum it looks like bad - the law as it existed was appropriately applied. And therefore the result was not improper. Yet the impact on America will be outsized - as can be seen by some GOPers efforts to lionize Rittenhouse. It's sad, and the ramifications will be with us for many years.
