Two Trump Attorneys Go Into a Bar (Called The Grand Jury), and One Attorney Says …
Stop me if you’ve heard this one already
Given the state of things these days, I’m always looking for things to laugh about. Also, I am intrigued by mysteries; and also like to find ways to agree with people, if I can.
Well, just recently (May 17th) I read an article in The Hill involving two Trump attorneys — and a) got a laugh, b) saw a bit of a mystery, and c) found a Trump lawyer saying something I can actually agree with.
A three-fer!
First, let’s identify the two attorneys: Timothy Parlatore and Evan Corcoran.
I’ve written before about Evan Corcoran, but because this story is more about Parlatore, put a pin in Corcoran and we’ll circle back around to him.
The laugh
A few excerpts from the article to start the funny part:
Former President Trump is losing a key member of his legal team on the Mar-a-Lago case, with attorney Timothy Parlatore departing as special counsel Jack Smith nears the finish line of his investigation.
Parlatore, who has been working the case with three other attorneys, said he spoke with Trump on Tuesday to inform him of his decision to leave.
